What is DataLiNC?

DataLiNC is a paid service offered by the NC Medical Board. DataLiNC allows users to monitor the license status of multiple NCMB licensees. It eliminates the need to look up each licensee individually on our website.


How does DataLiNC work?

Users create a list of “Favorites” (licensees you want to monitor) and are able to log into DataLiNC from the NCMB website. When the license status changes for any one of the Favorites or a public file is posted, DataLiNC generates an automatic email letting you know.


What types of licenses are monitored by DataLiNC?

DataLiNC provides information on Physicians (MDs and DOs), Physician Assistants, Residents, Anesthesiology Assistants, and Licensed Perfusionists.


What kind of information is included in the DataLiNC report interface?

DataLiNC provides the following licensee data: license type, license status, public-file status, date range, renewal date, date of birth, licensure date, and license number.

How do I add a user to my DataLiNC account?

To add a user, please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) with the user’s first and last name, email address, and phone number. Once the user’s profile has been set up, you will receive an email with the user’s new login credentials.
