Requirements

All polysomnographic technologists must register with the Board annually on or before September 1st. It is unlawful for an unregistered sleep tech to practice polysomnography, represent themselves as someone credentialed to practice polysomnography or use the title “Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.”

To register, a polysomnographic technologist must provide:

  1. Their full legal name
  2. Their complete address and current telephone number
  3. Evidence that they are currently credentialed in good standing by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
  4. The date of most recent credentialing by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists and the certificate number.
  5. A $50 registration fee, to be paid with a major credit card
