These applications are for physician assistants (PAs) volunteering at indigent clinics. The license permits practice in North Carolina for up to 30 days per calendar year, prohibits compensation, and is not suitable for PAs intending to perform any paid medical work.
Physician assistants who hold an active PA license in North Carolina or any other state may apply for a Limited Volunteer License. Applicants must have or establish an account using the Licensure Gateway before starting the application process.
