Resident Training License (RTL) Application

If you are submitting your own application

Before you begin the application process, review the application checklist.

To begin a license application, applicants must first register for an NCMB Licensure Gateway account. Save your credentials – you will need to login to check the status of your application and to manage your information once licensed.

Please Note:
Applicants will be required to submit specific documents to support their online application. The application review process does not begin until the license application fee is paid and the GME Office has finalized the application on their side.

Communicating with NCMB’s Licensing staff
If you need to speak with NCMB about your application, send an email to RTL@ncmedboard.org.
