Emergency Temporary License

NCMB has determined that it is no longer necessary to issue emergency temporary licenses to supplement the state's supply of licensed medical professionals to address needs related to COVID-19 and no longer issues limited emergency licenses (LEL). Existing LEL-holders' licenses will expireon April 18, 2022 unless the LEL-holder has a pending application for a North Carolina professional license. In that case, the LEL will remain active until the application is either approved or denied. Read more.
