Board phasing out Bimonthly Report

The NC Medical Board will no longer compile and post the Bimonthly Disciplinary Report. Although we recognize the importance of this report, the Board’s Public Affairs Department has developed new ways for users to obtain disciplinary data easier and faster.

RECENT BOARD ACTIONS
The Board now offers a section on its website titled Recent Board Actions. All disciplinary actions are posted in this section close to real time. You can be notified when new actions are posted by subscribing via RSS feed*

QUARTERLY DISCIPLINARY REPORT
Beginning in January 2011, the Board will offer a section on its website titled Quarterly Disciplinary Report. This section will take the place of the Bimonthly Report and will offer a compilation and brief summary of Board actions as they appear in the quarterly newsletter, the Forum. You can be notified when each report is posted by subscribing via RSS feed*

IMMEDIATE DISCIPLINARY REPORT
The Board will continue to offer Immediate Disciplinary Notices on its website. This section contains immediate actions taken by the Board, including recent practice surrenders, suspensions and revocations. You can be notified when immediate actions are posted by subscribing via RSS feed*

*What is an RSS feed?
An RSS feed is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. When you subscribe, you will receive notification that the Board has posted recent board actions, the Quarterly Disciplinary Report or any other Board related content that you may subscribe to. Notification will be delivered to you through your browser as soon as new content is posted.
