NCMB recently reviewed and revised its position statement entitled, Guidelines for Avoiding Misunderstandings During Patient Encounters and Physical Examinations. Feedback from members of the public and from licensed medical professionals helps the Board ensure its policies are clear, comprehensive, relevant, and consistent with current medical practice.
