Proposed updates to NCMB’s position statement on Telemedicine

NCMB’s Policy Committee regularly reviews and, if needed, revises the Board’s position statements. It recently updated its position on telemedicine. The revised version includes more information about the acknowledged benefits of telemedicine, while continuing to emphasize that there is no separate, lower standard of care for medical treatment delivered via telemedicine. The Board will accept feedback on the revised version of the position statement through close of business on Monday, March 4.
