Feedback sought on death certificate position statement
NCMB is considering adopting a position statement that expresses the Board’s belief that physicians and other clinicians who can legally complete death certificates should do so, upon request. The Board regularly receives reports about clinician refusals to certify deaths and the adverse consequences this has on surviving families and loved ones.
