Save the date: DEA drug takeback day set for Oct. 28
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s next National Prescription Drug Take Back Day will be held Saturday, Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
During the last drug take back day, held in April 2017, 60 collection sites across North Carolina collected more than 26,000 pounds of unused or expired medications, according to DEA.
Starting Oct. 1, check the DEA website to find a collection site near you.
