NC DHHS orders mandatory reporting of suspected coronavirus, releases clinical guidance
The NC Department of Health and Human Services on Monday issued a temporary order requiring clinicians to report suspected or confirmed cases of 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV)to the local health director in their county or district.
NCDHHS also released updated clinical guidance to provide NC clinicians with the latest information on the illness, which began with an outbreak of pneumonia of unknown etiology in Wuhan City.
