All North Carolina medical corporations (professional corporations or PAs) and public limited liability companies (PLLCs) must register annually with NCMB no later than Dec. 31. Renewal notifications are typically sent to the email on file with the Board beginning at the start of the fourth quarter. Visit the Corporations/PLLCs renewal page
Failure to timely renew registration will result in automatic suspension of the professional corporation’s or PLLC’s registration and certification under NCGS §55B13. If suspended by the Board, a business may no longer provide professional services to the public.
If you have questions or concerns about your corporation renewal, you may contact the Board’s Corporation Renewal Coordinator by email or telephone at (800) 253-9653, extension 386.
