IMLC, ITPE physician license applications are now live!
NCMB is now accepting applications for two new physician license types created by a 2025 NC healthcare workforce reform:
Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) licensure, both for physicians outside of NC who are currently licensed in another Compact state and for licensed NC physicians seeking IMLC licensure in other Compact states.
Internationally Trained Physician Employee Licensure. This license type offers certain internationally trained physicians who otherwise would not qualify for licensure in NC to work in a licensed NC hospital or in a physician practice in a rural county with on site supervision by a US-trained physician.
