November 2018 brought a changing of the guard, with Barbara E. Walker, DO, being sworn in as Board President. In other news, NCMB is seeking rule changes to increase PA license application and renewal fees for the first time in 13 years and the Board is working to raise public awareness of safe medication storage and disposal strategies. In his final President’s Message, outgoing Board President Tim E. Lietz, MD, reflects on NCMB’s revised mission statement and new vision statement.
